DID YOU KNOW

GINGER

Unknown to most people, ginger contains mineral nutrients like calcium,vitamins,iron,phosphorus,e.t.c.

So this brings me to my usual question

Did you know that..........

1) Ginger rectifies menstrual disorder; a piece of fresh ginger should be pounded and boiled in a cup of water taken three times daily after meal

2) It serves as a great appetizer,it contains essential oils which enhances the secretion of digestive juice

3) It enhances blood circulation,

4)It lowers cholesterol level and prevents blood clotting

5) Treat throat diseases like cold, cough, and cattarrh by chewing a piece of fresh ginger after meal.

SAY WHAT??

What are you waiting for......

TRY SOMETHING NEW

Hello guys,

I hope you all are having a wonderful day,I would like to share this amazing article,it is really motivating and I hope you guys learn from it.

Enjoy.

"You are never too old to set a new goal or to dream a new dream"
----C.S Lewis.

Someone once said,"Never be afraid to try something new. Remember, amateurs built the ark ,Professionals built the titanic. Sometimes we are tempted to give up because whatever we're doing doesn't work, when that happens,we have to try something new.

As long as we are making progress in life,we will have new opportunities and face new challenges. We have dreams and goals that we want to pursue along the way,if we know what to do,then we need to do it,if we don't,then we have the privilege of trusting God to guide us.

As we continue learning to be determined and not to give up,we must understand how to embrace new things.

Many times we say we want something new and then when new things come, they frighten us. New experiences, new opportunities can be daunting, but they don't have to be. If we insist upon clinging to old methods, old ideas, old relationships,or old mind sets and refuse to accept or embrace the new,we aren't going to progress in our lives

For example, when I am doing things for the first time,or something I have no experience with,I am tempted to lose my confidence just like everyone else.

My best advice is: press forward into what you believe God's will is for you. Don't let the feeling of fear rule your decisions,Be diligent to apply God's word to your life and to stay close to him

It is important to know that God is on your side when you go into new situations, most of the time the enemy attempt to make us turn around and go back to our old circumstances by using the 'what if' strategy, the enemy will call your attention to every possible "negative" about a new situation, but he will not bother to mention any of the "positives"

Don't be afraid to step out and do something new. Perhaps you haven't passed this way before, but God is with you.

BBA 'THE CHASE'-Nigeria Representatives

This season of Big Brother the Chase, Nigeria is lucky to be represented by two amazing personalities, Model Bevely from Lagos and Melvin
also model who doubles as an actor from Lagos, carry the country’s green and white flag.

Melvin and Bevely are not different from previous Nigerian contestants who made it to the finish line, If you have not seen much of them, you probably need more Time, because time heals and clears every doubt. you might not even identify them easily at the moment but with time you will identify who they by the tone of their voice.

Bevely has made mark in the show, she’s quite expressive, straight forward and one lucky thing for her she does not need introduction as she has the accent. Bevely is the first chaser to lead the Rubies after winning the head of house task. Butt her not from the show because trust me she is a chaser.

Melvin is kinda of guy who might put up the chase to the finish line, Melvin as soft spoken, attractive as he is, has already won the love other housemates. Last season Nigeria was unlucky in the Big Brother Stargame as Ola and Chris quite the show in the every first weeks and Goldie booted out quite early.

This time with Bevely and Melvin representing Nigeria do you see Nigeria represented for 91 in the Big Brother house.

I think I do...Goodluck to them anyways

14 YEARS IMPRISSONMENT FOR SAME SEX MARRIAGE IN NIGEIRA.

In spite of threats of sanctions from some western nations, the House of Representatives yesterday passed into law a bill seeking to prohibit marriage contracts and civil unions entered between persons of same gender in Nigeria. The passage of the bill means that such marriage contracts are illegal and shall not be recognised in the country. Those who indulge in such practices under any disguise shall not be entitled to the benefits of a valid marriage.

The lower chamber took the bold step when it adopted the report of its relevant committees on the bill at the Committee of the Whole. Under the new law, marriage contracts or civil
unions entered between persons of same gender by virtue of a certificate issued by a foreign country shall not be recognised in Nigeria.

Similarly, any benefits accruing from such marriages contracted abroad shall not be enforced by any court of law in Nigeria. A section of the legislation states as follows: “ Marriage or civil union entered between persons of same gender shall not be solemnised in any place of worship such as the church and mosque or any other place in Nigeria.

“Only marriage contract between a man and a woman under Islamic Law, Customary Law and Marriage Act is valid in Nigeria. “The registration of gay clubs, societies and organisations, their sustenance, processions and meetings are hereby prohibited. The public show of same-sex amorous relationship directly or indirectly is hereby prohibited.” Besides, the law provides appropriate punishment for breaches. Henceforth, persons who enter into a same gender marriage or civil union contract commit an offence and would be jointly liable on conviction to a term of 14 years imprisonment
each.

On the other hand, any person who registers, operates or participates in gay clubs, societies and organisations, or directly or indirectly makes a public show of same sex amorous relationship
commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a term of ten (10) years imprisonment.

Similarly, any person or group of persons that witness, screens, shields, aids and abets the solemnisation of same sex marriage contract or civil union or supports the registration of gay clubs, societies and organisations, processions or meetings in Nigeria commits an offence and shall
be liable on conviction to a term of 10 years imprisonment.

The law provides that the High Court of a state or the Federal Capital Territory shall have jurisdiction to entertain matters arising from the breach of these provisions. It is expected that the Senate will consider the same legislation and concur with the House before the law will be transmitted to President Goodluck Jonathan for his assent.

I think this move is a good move!

RELATIONSHIPS

5 GUYS TO AVOID

Hello guys

I am here again to give you tips and facts and all the jucy details I researched on,so I found this article and I decided to share it with you guys, yes its for my ladies, but the guys should also be ready for their's ,yh its going to be tagged 5 LADIES TO AVOID.

Enjoy!

He’s perfect! That’s what you’re telling your friends about your new guy. You’ve been dating him for about three weeks, and you’re sure he’s the one. Your knees buckle when he walks into a room, you light up like a Christmas tree when you see his number calling your phone, and when he kisses you, you swear you’ve died and gone to heaven.(Lol)

Those feelings are completely normal and wonderful! BUT, how do you know if your guy’s a keeper? There are certain deal breakers when it comes to relationships, certain things to watch out for. Sure, he’s handsome, charismatic, fun and adventurous and your parents are already giving
you their blessings. But, it’s always wise to look behind the good looks and charm, and focus on his core.

The following five guys are the ones you want to stay away from. These are the men you want to avoid more than the co-worker who sits next to you who has a cold, or the telephone solicitor who calls you at home the second you take your first bite of your dinner. In fact, these are the men you want to RUN from!

1. The jumper: You’ve known this man for one month and he’s already asked you what kind of ring you want. He’s telling you he loves you every thirty
seconds, and he talks about your future together in the suburbs with your minivan and three kids. One word: psycho. I am constantly amazed at how many men and women jump so quickly into relationships! Minimally, you should date someone for a year, (all four seasons) before deciding ANYTHING about your future. What’s the rush? Slow down! Chances are, if the jumper is jumping into a serious relationship with you, he’s done it with other girls. BEWARE!

2. The drinker: When people go on dates, it’s very common that they drink alcohol. Both people are nervous, both are trying to relax, and both want to appear to be fun and happy. So, yes, alcohol helps. That said, watch out for the guy who orders 5 drinks on your first date, and then does the same on every date after that. He might have a drinking issue that will rear its ugly head later on in the relationship.
Drinking is okay. In fact, I think it’s great. In moderation. But there’s a difference in drinking for fun, and an addiction. Recognize it! And one more thing about drinking, please don’t drink and drive. Ever!

3. The liar:Liars aren’t smart, and eventually, their lies catch up with them. Having someone who is honest and upfront with you means everything. Honestly!

4. The negative guy: The weather’s bad. The market’s down. He hates his job. His family’s bugging him. Everything is perpetually doom and gloom for the negative guy. He’s awful to be around, always complaining, and criticizing. He’s also cynical when it comes to anyone who bears good news. Here’s my advice. Break it off, or you
will catch his negative attitude, which in my opinion is a horrible disease!

5. The control freak: ladies, don’t let your guy control you. You are an independent, smart, successful woman, and you can make your own decisions. I think it’s okay to take suggestions from your guy, but if it gets to be more about control than about him having your best interest at heart, you need to CONTROL the situation and break up.

Ending this article,I can resist but to talk about the three really good guys. These are the men who are keepers, the ones to treasure. Don’t take them for granted. They are far and few between, but they certainly are out there!

THE GOOD ONES:

The lover: The lover is affectionate, he holds your hand in public, he kisses you just for nothing, he scratches your back or rubs your feet after a long work day, and my favorite, he plays with your hair.

The giver: He’s the guy who will bend over backwards for you. He’ll give you help when you need it, and he’s always asking how you are. He KNOWS about what’s going on in your life because he cares enough to ask. And, because he’s like this, you are too. So, in effect, he’s bringing out the best in you.

The loyalist: This guy isn’t in the relationship for just fun and happy times. He stays with you when you are ill, or when someone close to you dies. He’s there, not just for happy hour, but he’ll stand by if you get fired from your job. Don’t take loyalty lightly. I think it’s hard to come by.

TOLLING ON THE LEKKI-IKOYI LINK BRIGDE

I posted a story about Fashola commissioning the lekki-ikoyi link bridge, but I didn't add that he already is speculating on including toll fees.

This is what Fashola has to say about the toll

Enjoy.

Fashola said and I quote that “users of the 1.358 kilometres cable bridge will have to pay a toll each way whenever they use the bridge depending on the category of car they drive.”

Categories of tolling

The categories are: Class 1: Saloon cars; N250, Class 11: Mini-vans, SUVs and light pick-up trucks; N300, Class 111: Non-commercial buses with maximum seating capacity of 26 person
and Class 1V: Motorcycles with 200CC capacity and above; N100.

However, commercial motorcycle popularly called Okada, Tricycle popularly called Keke, commercial buses popularly called Danfo and
high capacity buses with maximum of 26- seater, heavy duty trucks and articulated trucks, are restricted from using the bridge.

However, at an earlier sitting by the State House of Assembly, there was a stormy session, as members debated the executive bill which requested the endorsement of the House to introduce a toll system on the Bridge

While suspending further debate on the bill till today (Thursday) and Friday, the House noted that the bill came to members very late and given the technicalities contained in the draft, members would need to take their time and seek experts’ opinion on the passage. Faulting the tolling of the bridge, a Lagos lawyer, Ebun-Olu Adegboruwa, accused Governor Fashola of disregard to the rule of law claiming the issue of tolling of the bridge is still in the court.

In a statement, he said:“On May 22, 2013, I was at the federal high court, Ikoyi, Lagos, with the Attorney-General of Lagos State, Mr. Adetoro Ipaye, to conclude arguments on my court case against tolling on the bridge. Part of the arguments of Lagos State before the court, was that no decision had been taken to toll the bridge. The case was then adjourned to July 9, 2013, for judgment. It is in the interval of that judgment that the Lagos State Government has ambushed the court by commencing tolling on the bridge, to overreach the pending judgment
of court.”

STATEMENT BAGS

Have you ever put together a nice outfit, and realized it was missing a pop of color? We often throw together cute outfits that look great, but sometimes lacking excitement. The best solution to this problem is a colorful statement bag. And right now, statement bags are the perfect way to incorporate some bright color into your wardrobe.
Tote bags, beach bags, purses, crossbody bags and clutches are all great ways to make your simple
outfit pop.

The best way to utilize a bright colored statement bag is to pair it with a neutral outfit, so that the bag really stands out (hence the name “statement”bag).

Wear an all-black ensemble, perfect for a night out or a day at work, and pair it with a neon(natural) clutch or bag. You will immediately look put together, while also looking cool and trendy.

If you want to try something different, pair your bright bag with a dress or skirt in a matching color,

Coordinating colors are a great way
to create visual interest with your statement bag.

You can also try color blocking by mixing a navy maxi dress with a neon yellow cross body, or a hot pink skirt with a bright orange tote.

Whatever you do with your bright bag, you are sure to be on trend.

FASHOLA COMMISIONS LEKKI-IKOYI LINK BRIDGE

As part of activities marking the nation’s Democracy Day and the
commemoration of his sixth year administration in Lagos, Governor Babatunde Fashola, on wednesday, commissioned the newly completed
1.358 kilometres Lekki-Ikoyi Link Bridge, Victoria Island, paying glowing tributes to late President Musa Yar’Adua for making the project a reality.

However, the bridge, believed to have cost a whopping N29 billion, will officially not be opened to the public till June 1, 2013. Speaking at the commissioning witnessed by dignitaries including the former Secretary to the Federal Government, SGF, Mr. Yayale Ahmed, former Governor of Lagos state, Alhaji Lateef Jakande, Brigadier-General Mobolaji Johnson (rtd), Oba Rilwanu Akiolu.

Fashola, described late Yar’Adua as a statesman and not a politician. Tribute to Yar’ Adua .The governor said the late president, during his short stay in office, never allowed his political affiliation to affect his duties, noting

“the late president was the first builder of the bridge. When the design was completed and shown to me, it was obvious that four property would have to give way at the Ikoyi end.”

He quoted the late President to have said:

“SGF, there is this bridge in conception by the Lagos State Government. It will affect some property over which we have a dispute with the state government in court, without prejudice to the outcome, please release the two property to them. Our political difference cannot stand in the way of our peoples’ development. That was President Yar’Adua as a statesman not a
politician.

“This was the same President who released our seized fund. When I showed him the design in his office in Abuja, he simply picked up his intercom and invited Alhaji Yayale Ahmed to join in the meeting.

“With the new cable bridge that would be opened for vehicular movement on June 1st, it is now easy for us to connect two communities separated by water.

This has brought a compelling need for a 4th Mainland Bridge and possibly a 5th and 6th bridge and expanded ferry services are all no longer debatable.”

Assuring residents, he said: “We are still working ceaselessly to start the 4th Mainland Bridge. To make the construction of the 4th Mainland
bridge successful, we have made a lot of progress to commence an alternative mode of crossing the Lagoon from Lekki to Ikorodu with the completion of the Ipakodo and Badore ferry terminals, as we race to conclude the Osborne terminal that will complete what I call the Lagos lagoon ferry triangle. All these will bring a lot of relief during the period of constructing the 4th Mainland Bridge as it will provide choice after its completion.”

Fashola explained that the new cable bridge would reduce the travel time of anyone driving through the bridge to link Alexandra Avenue, Victoria Island by 20 minutes daily and 5 days
yearly.

*whoop* we are all excited about the new link-bridge....

What do you think about It?

DID YOU KNOW

EXERCISE

Hello guys, hope we all had a wonderful day.
Yes,I am back with my "Did you know facts" and you know its my job to feed you with fabulous stories/facts and its your job to read and have fun *whoop*

So today we are talking about 10 exercise facts*drum-roll*

Enjoy

DId you know that......,

1 Exercises, such as a brisk walk, running or cycling for about 30 minutes, boosts the amount of oxygen
consumed in the body which in turn will improve blood circulation and cell growth which keeps you young. Improving your aerobic capacity by just 10 to 25 percent would be like cutting 10 to 20 years off your age. Aerobic exercise also stimulates the growth of new brain cells in older adults.

2 Moderate workouts temporarily improve the Immune system by increasing the capacity of immune cells. This may be the reason why people
who exercise regularly tend to have fewer colds and infections.

3 Exercise raises good HDL cholesterol and lowers blood pressure. New research also shows that it reduces arterial inflammation, which is a risk factor for heart attacks and strokes – thereby preventing them.

4 New evidence shows that upper-body and breathing exercises can reduce the need to use an inhaler for those with mild cases of asthma.

5 Exercise helps to control blood-sugar level by increasing the cells’ sensitivity to insulin and controlling weight. Going on a brisk walk for 30 minutes regularly would greatly reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

6 The body needs movement to aid digestion and assimilation. This in turn would greatly reduce the risk of colon cancer by speeding waste through the
body and lowering insulin levels. It may also protect against breast and prostate cancer by regulating hormone levels.

7 When tense or stressed out, instead of reaching for alcohol or sweet, comfort foods, try to exercise first. Regular exercise, especially aerobic exercise,
reduces the levels of stress hormones, increases serotonin activity in the brain which improves mood and relieves tension. Exercise is nature’s antidepressant because for many people, it helps relieve depression effectively.

8 Walking or practicing yoga improves mood and helps reduce some menopausal symptoms like hot
flashes and night sweats for women.

9 For men, practicing some pelvic exercises will help prevent erectile dysfunction and possibly benign prostate enlargement, a common cause of urinary problems.

10 Studies have consistently shown that being active cuts the risk of premature death by about 50 percent for men and women.

So here’s what I’m suggesting – start gradually. Eat healthy foods and find an exercise you enjoy and which fits into your schedule. You can start by going
for a walk – this would ground you, increase your oxygen levels and improve digestion – a little goes
a very long way.

Take the time to research different types of sports or exercise you might be interested in and have fun trying them out, until you finally decide what exercise or sport you like. Getting fit
and healthy should be a joy and not a pain.

Consider what time of the day would be best for you to exercise. When you are fit and healthy, you enjoy life in abundance the way it should be.

BBA 'THE CHASE'

It’s only three days into seaz 8 dramatically dubbed ‘The Chase’, to be quite fair, it has brought some
entertainment to the telly thus far and Yesh! we are impressed!
Now that we have two houses; the Diamond and Ruby, the Chasers are surely going to bring more drama and entertainment. While some Chasers have already gotten out of the
shells and their real characters have started to show, others are still trying to acquaint themselves with their new surroundings and hopefully this
doesn’t take them ages because the viewers are interested in entertainment and not excuses.

There are some Chasers who have stood out thus far (in my opinion), the likes of Nigeria’s Beverly who’s also the HOH for the Rubies, she’s been active though it’s funny when she reports to the DR
and prefers to keep standing until Biggie ‘officially’ asks her to use the DR seat. Bolt from Sierra Leone has also impressed in a way especially when with the ladies, he seems to have a soft spot for beautiful Betty from Ethiopia. Angelo from SA has not been the out spoken dude, however, he’s been a
busy bee when it comes to chores, debates and sharing ideas. Uganda’s Denzel seems to have finally let out a lot thanks to alcohol, his DR session
yesterday was off the hook, Biggie couldn’t help but have a good time with the ‘massage king’.

The likes of Sulu, Natasha, Feza among others have also been interesting lately and hopefully more will be revealed as soon as possible.

Note: This is not some sort of campaign for any of the Chasers, however, it is what it is, the fact still remains that we all can differentiate between who’s
entertaining and who’s not when it come to our 28 Chasers (so far). I know we are just 3 days into the show, thus it’s still TOO early to judge who’s
entertainment and who’s not, for that reason, let’s give them a little time.

With time the rest of them especially those who have already been written off by some fans will definitely get out of their shells.

Over to you, who’s been the most entertaining Chaser thus far?

ANGELINA JOLIE's AUNT DIES OF BREAST CANCER

Angelina Jolie's aunt has died of breast cancer, nearly two weeks after the Hollywood star said she had had a double mastectomy to avoid such a fate. Debbie Martin passed away at the Palomar Medical Centre in Escondido on Sunday, aged 61, the hospital said.
Mrs Martin was the sister of Jolie's mother Marcheline Bertrand, who died of breast cancer in 2007 at the age of 56, reports the BBC. Her husband, Ron Martin, said the sisters had both had the same mutated BRCA1 gene, which Jolie inherited.

"Angelina has been in touch throughout the week and her brother Jamie has been with us, giving his support day by day," he told E! News. "They both loved Debbie very much and although Angie is not able to come right now she has sent her love and support which was very nice."

Martin also praised the actress for electing to have a double mastectomy, telling the Associated Press:

"Had we known, we certainly would have done exactly what Angelina did."

On 14 May, the 37 year old wrote in the New York Times that she had had the operation after doctors estimated she had an 87% risk of breast cancer and
a 50% risk of ovarian cancer.

"I decided to be proactive and to minimise the risk as much I could," she explained, adding that her chances of developing breast cancer had now

ABRAHAM RESTITUTED

Besides restituting in the areas of robbing people, lying concerning certain issues, etc., we need to
also restitute in our dealings with God. This relates to instructions He has given to us. For instance, in Genesis 12:1-3, God made some powerful promises
to Abraham subject to only three conditions. He fulfilled two of the conditions and felt the third one
was unnecessary. In fact, he thought people will call him names for sending away his late brother's son from living with him. By so doing, he mixed his
petrol (gas) with water and everything began to go wrong.
One day, as the problem became
exacerbated and was now affecting peace in his home, he realised what he did and asked Lot to separate from him.
In Genesis 13:14-18, after that restitution, God resumed with him from where he stopped some 13
years earlier. In other words, his refusal to obey the third condition only fixed him on the same spot for that long! Beloved, as long as there is water in your petrol (gas), you might not hear from God. Have you stopped hearing from God and it bothers you?
Check your life for any pending restitution and immediately settle the issue. Have you obeyed God in certain areas but failed to do so in one or more
areas? Go and restitute today so that you can begin to make progress at the rate God intended for you.

If you pay your tithes and offerings and the blessings are not coming, there may be some restitution hiding somewhere which you need to
make. Until his restitution, Abraham's beautiful wife that was a source of his joy became a source of sorrow as he ran from famine. He lost his wife and could have been killed but for God's mercy. If
you are constantly getting into trouble, find out if there is a pending restitution.

Memorise:

Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed: 2 Corinthians 6:3
Read: Genesis 13:14-18
Bible in one year: Ezekiel 46-48

Key point:

If you harbour a pending restitution, your progress will be impeded

DOING THINGS DIFFERENTLY/GIVE YOUR DREAMS A NEW BEGINNING

Have you ever looked back over your life and wondered ... If only I knew then what I know now, I would have done things very differently?

Have you ever asked yourself these questions due to regrets from the past?,

What would i do differently?
What have i learnt about happiness? What situations in my life would I have approached differently had i known this before?
what specific situations would i change in my upbringing?
What have I learnt from that business venture that never really took off, or the one i never started?
What would i do differently?
Would i approach my education differently?
Why? What different choices would I have made?
What about my career?
What one thing that if i did it differently would have made all the difference?
What would i do differently in a particular relationship?
What have i learnt about business and what situations would i handle differently?
What career decision would have made all the difference and why?
What do i now know about my physical health and what would i do differently now that i know that?
What does family mean to me?

Now that you have a deeper understanding of this, are there specific situations that you would change in the past if you
knew this?

What do you know now about success and what is the key moment in the past you would change and why?

So many questions, but where are the answers....

Have you also stopped to think about the past, and about the fact that there is nothing you can do about the past, but you can try hard and change the future, you can change the way you think, the way you look at things, you can start believing in yourself, that someday things will get better...

Remember that its never too late to start that thing that you have always wanted to do....

Do you know that with the right attitude, you will give birth to more in the future than you have lost in the past.

Quit looking back today, this is a new day,it may seem like your dreams have died, but God can resurrect your dead dreams or give you brand new ones.

Have a lovely day,

THE INTEGRITY OF A PENNEY

Enjoy...

A poor minister's son from Missouri, James cash Penny founded one of America's most successful retail business on the simple timeless values of honesty, respect, integrity and hard work.

In addition to his work as a minister, penny's father was a farmer and penny learned to work on the family farm near Hamilton,Missouri. His father wanted to make sure his children understood the value of money,so he made james work to buy his own clothes, starting from age 8years old.

In 1893,Penny graduated from high school, hoping to become a lawyer instead, he became a sales man at a local dry goods store. J.M.Hale and Brothers.

Penny soon learned that everyone did not live by the same values he held dear. Other clerks took business away from him and he had to learn to be more confident, strengthen his sales skills, and stand up for the sales opportunities that were rightfully his.

In the midst of this time of personal and professional growth, penny's health began to decline, in danger of contracting tuberculosis, his doctor urged him to relocate from Missouri to a drier climate. He ended up in Denver,Colorado, where he found employment in the dry goods trade he had learned from Mr.Hale

The industrious and ambitious penny soon had enough money to start his own business,so he opened a butcher shop,it failed, but not because penny believed in treating all customers with kindness and respect and when he refused to grant special treatment to a certain influential customer that customer used his influence to force penny out of business

Following the closing of the butcher shop, penny went to work for the chain of Golden Rule Dry goods stores,He enjoyed success there, and eventually became a partner in the company.

While working for Golden Rule and living in Wyoming, penny fell in love with Berta Alva Hess, and married her.
Based on his philosophy of honesty,
integrity and respect, Penny's business continued to grow and he soon opened his own Golden Rule store, he provided quality merchandise at reasonable prices for working class families and developed a reputation for excellent service. He refused to take credit,
requiring customers to pay cash for their purchases.

The owners of Golden rule eventually sold out to penny and he changed the chain's name to J.C penny company. Penny moved the company's head quaters to new york in 1914 and opened the first official J.C Penny store in Missouri in 1918.

Penny had several personal tragedies to overcome as he continued to build his retail empire. In 1910,he suffered the devastating loos of his wife berta who succumbed to pneumonia, leaving him to raise two soon alone . He wrote that her death caused his word to crash around him. In 1919,penny married again, his wife mary bore him a son who died in 1923,leaving him a widower again in 1926,he married again he and his wife, caroline had two daughters and remained married until penny's death

J.C penny built a thriving business and a life upon good godly principles,he gave up on his integrity.

No matter what you try to accomplish in life, hold fast to the principles in Gos's Word and you will always be successful.

THE WOOLWICH KILLINGS

By----Femi Fani-Kayode

If you thought you knew all about the woolwich killings, then you haven't read this piece by fani-kayode,this is the woolwich killing from another perspective.

Enjoy.

Some things just don’t add up when it comes to the Woolwich killings. There are certainly more questions than answers. Let us examine the facts.
An off-duty British soldier by the name of Lee Rigby was walking down the street in the charming and peaceful London suburb of Woolwich. All of a sudden, and out of the blue, he was randomly selected and run over by a car which was being driven by two young black men.

After they hit him to the ground with the car the two young men jumped out of it, armed with matchetes, knives, a rusty old pistol and a meat cleaver, and in a deep
and uncontrollable frenzy amidst shouts of ‘’Allahu Akbar’’, proceeded to take his precious life by carving him up, mutilating him, butchering him and
be heading him in full public glare. This all happened barely 100 metres away from Rigby’s Army Barracks home. The attack began at 2.30 pm whilst the soldier gave up the ghost at approximately 3.00pm on a four-point inter-section roundabout and
crossroads.

Immediately after finishing their gruesome act the killers then conducted their own impromptu press
conference, brandishing knives and meat cleavers in blood-soaked hands, with random members of the public asking to be filmed and qouted whilst
their clothes were soaked, drenched and dripping in human blood. After their ‘’press conference’’ ended
they moved to the other side of the road and calmly waited for the police to arrive. They had all the time in the world to do so but they plainly refused to run and attempt to avoid arrest or the imminent arrival of the police.

According to eye-witnesses (and I
watched the footage on CNN) the police took no less than 30 minutes to get to the scene and confront the two killers. They did NOT get there in the 9 minutes that they are claiming. When the police eventually arrived instead of surrendering peacefully to them or attempting to run away, the two young men charged at them brandishing their knives and meat cleaver in a menacing way and attempting to shoot their old and rusty pistol.

Unfortunately for them the pistol exploded in the hand of the individual that tried to use it. They were both promptly shot, wounded and disarmed. Yet before the police arrived another rather curious incident took place.

A strange yet very courageous Scandanavian woman, who just
happened to be sitting on a bus that was driving past, told the bus driver to stop when she saw the carnage that was being inflicted on the dying
soldier, got off the bus and calmly walked over to the killers even as they were still killing him. She then proceeeded to have a detailed conversation with them asking them why they were doing what they were doing and assuring them that in the end they would lose the fight because it was ‘’just them against many’’.
Is this not a rather curious encounter? Who really was that Scandanavian lady and who does she really work for? Is she a genuine hero or is she what, in security and intelligence circles, is known as a controller? Is she part of the system because to do what she did took immense courage?

So many questions still need to be asked and answered. For
example why did the police take so long before responding? Why were the killers given all the time in the world to conduct a graphic, loud and unofficial press conference in the streets with members of the public after beheading and carving up the young
soldier?

Even more curiously the police and intelligence agencies have now admitted that these two young men were “known to them”. If that were the case how come they were never put under close surveillance, monitored, questioned or arrested? Why did all this have to take place at exactly
3.00pm in the afternoon, at that location (a crossroads of four junctions) and on that date? Why did the assailants have to cut off theirvictims head, hang around there for thirty minutes whilst ranting and whilst soaked and covered in their victims blood? Why did the killers insist that only women could come near the dying body of their victim? Why was this whole thing allowed to happen and to drag on like it did for 30 uninterrupted minutes by the authorities? Why did the police refuse to move in even though numerous members of the public were having detailed conversations with the assailants?

Was this whole thing some kind of state-sponsored illuminati-style human sacrifice? Was it designed and orchestrated by the authorities to create more terror in the land and to give them the opportunity to introduce more draconian laws, curb immigration and do away with even more civil liberties on the grounds that they wish to fight the very terror that they themselves created. Are we not being fooled again by the ‘’powers that be’’ and the state just as we were over ‘’9-11’’ and over the murder of Princess Diana, both of which were clearly inside jobs with strong illuminatti connections . If anyone doubts this assertion they ought to do themselves a
favour and find the time to watch David Icke’s revealing docuementry titled ‘’9/11-It Was An Inside Job’’. It is on youtube. They can also find his numerous books and watch his numerous docuementries on the murder of Princess Diana. Their world view will change dramatically after that.
Back to Woolwich. Are there not clear parallels between the Woolwich incident and the Boston bombings which took place just a few weeks ago. Are there not similarities in the profiles of the two sets of killers in both incidents.

Both operations were conducted in full public glare and in the afternoon. Both operations were carried out by two Americans and two British citizens respectively each of them with a foreign
heritage and family ties with nations that are rife with and that are being torn apart by islamist terror.

In the case of the Boston bombers the two perpetrators had strong links and family ties with Dagestan and Checnya in the case of the Woolwich incident both perpetrators had equally strong links and family ties with Nigeria.

Both sets of killers were muslim fundamentalists and both sets were
‘’known to the intelligence agencies’’ of their respective countries. Both countries in which the murders took place, i.e. Great Britain and the United
States of America, are the greatest allies and leaders in the war against terror and they are both committed to standing ‘’shoulder to shoulder’’ with
one another in that fight. Is it not strange that similar acts of terror will take place in the two just a few weeks apart and that those acts of terror were
all carried out by people with similar profiles and virtually the same age. The coincidences are just too many and things just don’t add up.

The performance of the British police particularly has opened up the door for a lot of speculation. They made so many mistakes. Yet I can assure you that the British police and intelligence agencies are NOT that sloppy. They are amongst the best, if not the best, in the world and they just don’t. make mistakes. There is far more to this whole thing than meets the eye and there is also a sinister purpose and agenda to it.

The full picture has not yet been shown to us and perhaps it never will but little by little those that are well-versed in these matters will work it out and the truth will be exposed.

Yet the questions just keep coming. Is it possible that those two British boys of Nigerian descent were under some kind of ‘’Peter Powers’’-type hypnosis and mind-control system which was triggered off by something or someone.

In many of his books and videos David Icke has alluded to the usage and
existence of such capabilities by the more advanced intelligence agencies in the world for the last ten years and he has cited many examples of such usage. Initially I was skeptical about his assertions until I listened and read carefully and I cross-checked the examples and the events that he cited. After that I was convinced that he was right and ever since then I have acknowledged the fact that we live in an exceptionally dangerous world where only the dullard would rule anything out.

Back to the two young men that killed in Woolwich. Were they cultivated, ‘’programmed’’ and used by agents of the illuminati in the British establishment to carry out this gruesome operation and this monstrous sacrifice? It is relevant and interesting to note that the two suspects were not just British citizens of Nigerian descent but that they were both muslim CONVERTS. That is to say they were both brought up as christians and then somewhere along the line they converted not just to islam but to it’s most extreeme and radical brand. They became dangerous islamists that were prepared to kill for their faith. Who cultivated them and took them to
this point and how did it get so bad?

More importantly will this whole episode not give the western powers and the British people another reason to demonise islam and target mosques and muslim clerics? Is that part of the plan and the wider picture? Is the whole idea to create the atmosphere for vicious reprisal attacks against muslims and Nigerians in the U.K.? Is all that I have written here far-fetched? You may believe so but I don’t. And neither have I gone mad. The devil is real and the illuminati is it’s toool for world control and domination. It has been around for years and those that are part of it operate in the deepest secrecy. Yet even if you do not agree with me on anyything that I have said here, the
questions that I have raised are legitimate and they are indeed food for thought. In this game there are no coincidences and everything happens for a reason and has its own sybolism and purpose.

As far as I am concerned only David Icke can crack this Woolwich nut and unravel it’s secrets and I look forward to the day that he does. Meanwhile I pray that thesoul of Officer Rigby rests in perfect peace and I urge every Nigerian that is resident in or that is visiting the UK, especially if they are muslims, to be exceptionally careful in their movements and in their dealings with the British people and authorities. There is FAR more to this whole thing
than meets the eye and whether anyone likes to admit it or not, sadly, there will be some kind of backlash against our people at some point.

As for the two British men of Nigerian descent (whose names I refuse to mention) that cut short the life of this brave young and heroic British soldier
in the prime of his life for doing absolutely nothing wrong, may they both die a slow and terrible death
and may they rot in hell.

UNUSUAL COMMANDS

It is a great thing to benefit from God’s favour because | His favour completely wipes out emptiness. The I favour of God is also dangerous. Why you may ask? It's because the favour of God
can convert the goods of enemies and oppressors into spoils for the favoured. In Exodus3:22, God said,

"But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians"

Considering this scripture, one will discover that, it is dangerous to rob, steal from, deny or cheat a believer. You may be permitted to do so for a long
whi le but on the day the favour of God falls on that individual, you may have to forfeit both what you took or stole as well what rightfully belongs to you.
Your belongings might supernaturally move into his or her hands and you will be unable to prevent this trend of loss. Therefore if you have taken anything
from any of God's children, or if you are impeding their promotion, release it now with pleas before it is too late for you!

At any point in time it is important to know what God is currently saying concerning a given situation. To walk in God's favour, you need to know the word that is proceeding from God's
mouth. Jesus said we ought to live by this day by day (Matthew 4:4). Such word was it that gave the children of Israel their unpaid wages of 430 years.
Sometimes this proceeding word might contradict your known theology and might even defy logic, however you are duty bound to obey. For instance, God who has commanded us to pray for all men might stop you from praying for a particular individual. It happened to Samuel concerning Saul (1 Samuel 16:1). Also, God may ask you not to give to a particular individual or project under certain circumstances. If God gives you such instructions and you have confirmed He is the One, simply
obey. It means what God is saying at that point in time supersedes whatever He has said before on the subject matter

Memorise:

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
Matthew 4:4
Read: Matthew 4:2-4
Bible in one year: Ezekiel 43-45

Key point:

What God said in the past is important but what He is saying now is more important and urgent.

MICHELLE OBAMA

Have you ever wondered how michelle obama got her well toned arms and body....well if you don't know, its my job to enlighten you..so please read as she shares the secrets behind her enviable pairs of biceps and fabulous body.

ENJOY.

"I have a pretty well-rounded [exercise] routine that incorporates cardio, some weights - but nothing heavy, nothing dramatic - and plyometrics and things like that, which is a lot of body movement," she revealed.

"Barack and I work out every day. When he isn't traveling, that's the first thing we do. So we spend time together in the morning. I usually get to the gym before he does."

And even when she's travelling, Michelle manages to fit exercise into her schedule.

"I bring a jump rope - a jump rope and some of those rubber bands that you can get. They're really inexpensive. And I can usually do some rope jumping in the hotel room," she told US website iVillage, which she is guest-editing at present.

"Sometimes, if I don't have a rope or if I don't have space, I might do a 30 minute routine that includes a minute of jumping jacks alternating with a minute of push- ups, or however many you can do, and then some sit-ups. And you keep doing that circuit again and

The First Lady also revealed that healthy eating is behind her enviable physique, and that she hopes to pass on the same good habits to her children, Malia and Sasha.

BBA UPDATES

THE TWISTS IN THE CHASE

This is what bbaafrica.tv (blog) is reporting.......

Enjoy....

The Big Brother Africa eighth edition ‘The Chase’ marks day one, twenty eight house mates were yesterday unveiled to viewers from over 45 countries a cross Africa and by now you know your country’s representative.
The house mates were housed in two different houses dubbed the Diamond and the Ruby house, so this season we shall have the Diamonds and the
Rubies just like last season’s Upvillers and Downvillers.

Re-known host of the show, IK returned to the house for another 91 days of the Chase game, therefore quashing all the speculations suggesting he would
not be hosting the show this season.

Those of you who watched the opening show will agree with me that Ik is geared to making every thing look
different this time round, the way he made his way on stage on a big ride was indeed stylish and we might see him on different rides every Sunday.
There was no time to waste as Biggie handed house mates their very first fire task that kept them awake all night, this was an opportunity for the
housemates to bond and it is also a foot in the door tactic to prepare housemates for future tasks.

Just as it was promised earlier when the show was announced in January, Big Brother Africa ‘The Chase’ will have a number of twist and i love the fact that this will be happening soon , certainly it was announced yesterday that housemates will be switching from
one house to the other and what is more interesting Is that, the head of house decides who switches from the Diamond house to the Ruby house.

The switching of housemates from one house to another will take place every Friday, among other twist, IK also announced of warnings and automatic
disqualification of housemates who earn several warnings from Biggie for failing to play by the rules. Besides the saving and switching of nominated
housemates is likely to be different as the power is to be vested on the housemates.

However some of the housemates might start their first day on a bad note as they might find themselves on the chopping block, as day one of the Chase will also have nominations in the list of their day’s activities.

Lastly you can clearly observe that housemates of different ages, experience and passion grace this
season’s big brother the chase.

Do you therefore feel that the chase will be more interesting than the previous shows.

Personally, i think we should just see how it goes.....

Bill Clinton Congratulates Eva Longoria
On Her Newly-Received Masters Degree!

How thoughtful!
I was so impressed that Eva Longoria took time out of her busy acting career to focus on furthering her education with a recently-completed Masters Degree in Chicano and Chicana Studies from Cal State University Northridge, and apparently, so is the former President of the United
States!

Bill Clinton took to Twitter to provide the Desperate Housewives star, who started her graduate studies while still working on the show, with a personal congratulations:

.@evalongoria Thanks for inspiring others to never stop learning and for your support of @ clintonglobal. Congrats on your degree.

Awww!..how nice?....

And it was clear that Eva was VERY appreciative of his gesture, as she responded:

Thank u Mr. President RT

Did you know that. Eating Avocados(pear)

-----helps to lower cholesterol level due to the balanced composition of its fatty acids as well as its rich vegetable fibre content.

-----eating avocado regularly is recommended for people with various heart problems such as hypertension,in addition to reduction of fat level in the blood to the fact that they may contain very little sodium and abundant potassium.

-----it is particularly beneficial to the diabetics,it helps to maintain an appropriate blood gloucose level

----it eliminates smell usually caused by bacteria activities inside the mouth

SAY WHAT??

So one can get this by just eating an avocado..*sigh*....

SIGNS ARE LIMITED

Signs and wonders are important tools for church growth. Yet, as great as they are, they have their limitations. A Christian is called to a life of faith not
a life controlled by sight. Signs and wonders are primarily meant for unbelievers while believers are
expected to believe even without seeing. To unbelievers, seeing is believing but to his followers, Jesus says: if you believe then you will see John 11:40). That is pure faith! In other words, for a believer, it is your faith that will bring your expectation into reality. So, if you lack faith in God in a particular area of life, you may not see
anything.

Signs and wonders have their limitations hence you need to reorder your priorities in line with the
reality of God's word. For instance, it is possible to perform miracles and be unable to make it to Heaven (Matthew 7:21-23). Some bonafide servants
of God who walked in the miraculous are in hell, and many more will join them because of pride. What brought Lucifer down if not pride? If you
cannot ask God to clothe you with humility and meekness while He is performing signs and wonders through you, then it is safer to let the
power go.

Some anointed of God who are operating in signs and wonders but are secretly sinning, unfortunately believe all is well because some
miracles still attend their ministry. All is not well! In his backslidden state, Eli still made a prophetic declaration concerning Hannah at Shiloh and it
came to pass. But how did he end his life? If you are living in secret sin but still see miracles being performed through you, you ought to be really
scared. Such miracles can never take you to Heaven. It is holiness and purity of heart that will.

Moreover, the devil can perform magic. Not every ‘ prophet is of God even when they claim to heal the sick and perform miracles. Some believers, in their desperate search for miracles have ended up with magic. Everyone who receives magic from Satan comes under his control and manifestation, whether they know it or not and whether they like it or not.
Have you received something from Satan? Return it today!

Memorise:
For we walk by faith, not by sight: 2
Corinthians 5:7
Read: Matthew 7:21-23
Bible in one year: Ezekiel 40-42

Action Point:
Believers who often run after miracles from place to place end up as preys of Satan. Pursue Jesus and you will find Him.

Have a blessed day

Oh holy Sunday, let your darkness not
come along my way. Let her nurture
internal and external world, as I start my personal day.”
― Santosh Kalwar

“Two or three angels
Came near to the earth.
They saw a fat church.
Little black streams of people
Came and went in continually.
And the angels were puzzled
To know why the people went thus,
And why they stayed so long within.”

HOW SACRIFICIAL?

The level of sacrifice you are prepared to make towards God is another factor that reveals your level of commitment to God. Sacrifice and love go hand in hand. You are prepared to sacrifice
something for the one you love. For instance, .when a man is courting a woman he really loves, he would do virtually anything for her to convince her of his love. Although, unfortunately, after he has succeeded in marrying her, he may not be willing to make such sacrifices anymore. The ideal thing is
that he should even do more for her. God so loved the man He created that He sent His only Begotten Son to die for them John 3:16). But God did not stop
there. Romans 8:32 says, He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all how shall he not with him also freely give us all things"

This means that having given us Jesus His best gift, there is nothing He cannot give to us. What can you give to the Lord? What level of sacrifice are you
prepared to make for God's Kingdom? In Mark 10:28-30, we see how the love of the 12 disciples made them to leave everything in order to follow the Lord Jesus. What have you left for Jesus? If you truly love Him, you will sacrifice anything for Him. Closely allied to this is that the one who is committed to Christ will be time compliant when itcomes to the things of God. If you are committed to the Lord, you will take His appointments very seriously.

You will not go late for church services; in fact, you will be the first to arrive for sanitation, evangelism or any other area of service you are involved in. If you are always dodging Sunday
school, it shows you are very low in commitment. If the president of your country were to give you an appointment where you will be given a contract of several billion dollars, would you go late? If the appointment is at 10 a.m. some people will get there by 5 a.m. But when the President of presidents gives you an appointment or calls a meeting, why keep Him waiting for you? Some people will keep Him waiting for hours. It is because they are not committed. From today, prove
your commitment by becoming time compliant

Memorise:

He that spared not his own Son, but
delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Romans 8:32
Read: Mark 10:28-30
Bible in one year: Ezekiel 37-39

Key point:

The rich fool thought he was in control of his harvest until God separated him from it and he suffered a great loss. If you hold tightly to what you have than is necessary, you may be calling for a
separation.

Sue Weekend Special

Meet Seyi Shay

DEBORA OLUWASEYI JOSHUA OTHERWISE KNOWN AS SEYI SHAY IS A THOROUGHBRED SINGER, SONG
WRITER, PRODUCER AND ENTERTAINER. HER ENTRY INTO SHOWBIZ IN NIGERIA IS TO SAY THE
LEAST PHENOMENAL. SELDOM DO WE FIND BURGEONING ARTISTES WITH THE FEAT SHE HAS RECORDED IN BARELY SEVEN MONTHS ON THE NIGERIAN ENTERTAINMENT SCENE. THE DARK-
HUED STAGE ROCKER OPENS UP TO LANRE ODUKOYA ABOUT HER CAREER,FAMILY AND BACKGROUND
SECRETS OF MY GROWTH IN SHOWBIZ…

It’s just my seventh month in the Nigerian showbiz industry and I’m proud of my growth. It’s actually
due to a combination of things. The first is the company that I work with - Flytime Entertainment - renowned for staging mega shows here in Nigeria and Sound Sultan for bringing me to Nigeria and introducing me to Cecil Hammond. I also owe it to Efe Omoreghe for taking me on as an artiste and as a project. These, coupled with hard work and
tenacity made my rise astronomic. But actually, for me, it’s been about fourteen years of doing music.

HOW I STARTED MUSIC…
Professionally, I started when I was about ten. I was in the choir in London. I was born and raised in the UK but my parents are Nigerians. My mom is from
the north and my day is from Ife, Osun State. My parents lived in London for over twentyyears to provide good education for their kids. I’d started
visiting Nigeria when I was two because that was the tradition in my family. I returned home later and started schooling at Command High School,
Maryland, Lagos. I went back to the UK to complete my education at the college and the university. My foray veered from singing in church to singing in
the school and singing secular in the studio. And then, the songs that I composed with the Harmony
Group was taken from me and used for bigger artistes in the UK. That was fine, but I still had it in my mind that I was going to be an artiste and sing
my own songs.

HOW BEYONCE’S DAD MET AND TOOK ME TO AMERICA…
At the university four years ago, I joined a British all girls singing group. We were called From Above. It consisted of five girls, two white girls, one mixed
breed girl, one Asian girl and me. We were just rehearsing at the studio in the UK one day and Matthew Knowles, Beyonce’s dad saw us. We sang for him and there and then he decided to sign us to his Sony/Columbia Record and Music World Entertainment Company. He later took us to Houston and things began to shape from there. So, we underwent intense training like vocal and dance training because we were under contract to do stuff. It was called the Star Power Boot Camp. Apparently
that was what Destiny’s Child went through back in their time.
A year went by and we were offered the opportunity to support Beyonce on tour. So, we went round the UK since it’s our territory and the tour was called ‘Beyonce I am’ tour. We went to Manchester, New Castle, Nottingham, London and it was fantastic. We were performing in front of about 16,000 guests every night.

BETWEEN NIGERIAN AND AMERICAN MUSIC PRODUCTION…
I was instilled with a lot of discipline underneath Matthew Knowles’ guidance and being on tour with Beyonce, I realized she’s the best because of what
her dad did to her. There were days that I cried and I didn’t want to be in the group anymore and I said people shouldn’t have to go through waking up at 5:30am and start running around in the heat. I didn’t understand it but then I later figured that it instills discipline in you. So, when the group fell apart after
our reality show, Breaking From Above on MTV which was one season with six episodes. And it was shown all over the world and it’s still showing in some parts of Africa. When you watch it, you’d see all that I’m telling you about the vocal and dance trainings using all of Beyonce’s teachers. Coming to
Nigeria was because the group fell apart a year later and I think Matthew Knowles too is having some personal issues. I decided to do something
else because I was the lead singer of a group I didn’t believe in anymore. I wanted to leave anyway. So, when I met Sound Sultan in London and he heard the materials I have accumulated over the years, he felt that I could return to Nigeria, be a solo artiste and do much better than what I’ve done in four years being in a group. I heeded his counsel
because I like his music. He’s very wise and knowledgeable. Then I got close to his family. After he introduced me to Cecil Hammond and Cecil told me, “if you can put everything you have learnt from Matthew Knowles into your own craft in Nigeria, you would blow.” And that was what I did. I spent up to four months training with my dancers in
Nigeria. Music is harder for me to do here because I’m used to certain level and environment. I’m used to certain excellence in sounds and when I came to Nigeria, I realized that everyone was trying as hard as they can to attain that excellence. Unfortunately,
we cannot stand side-by-side with American artistes even down to our packaging. The sound is
the most challenging thing for me. You cannot compare the sound of Tina Turner album to the one
of Seyi Shay produced in Nigeria. And I’ll like to be part of the change in Nigeria.

ABOUT MY WORKS…
I’m working on my concert next year. And I’m also working on my album launch which we want to do differently. I’m still fresh in the industry and I feel
there’s a lot I have to do. I have a single I did with Timaya and another one with Olamide coming out soon.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH OLAMIDE…
It was very easy to flow with Olamide because I can be a street girl if I want to. What you see now is probably more of the decent side of me. From all
the works I’ve done since last year, my fans know that I’m real, I’m not into any ‘effizzy’. So, when I went to Olamide’s house, immediately, I told him I
would like to eat amala and he was very excited to hear that. You know he’s now called ‘Badoo’, he now calls me ‘Badoolet’. It was easy to work with
him because we could relate with each other well. He actually wrote the song already, from head to toe and I’m used to writing my songs. We recorded
it and it came out fantastic and he did his rap which turned out to be a very great song.

TIME OUT WITH TIMAYA…
I was doing a Channel O interview and the interview went viral all over Africa. So, Timaya told me that he was in South Africa and that he watched the
interview. The interviewer asked me, “who would you like to work with first in Nigeria?” And I said Timaya is my favourite artiste. So, when Timaya
saw that, he decided that if he ever meets me, he would do a song with me. I was just in the studio with my producer Delby and Timaya walked into
the studio just like that. We were very excited and I played the song that I’d been working on to him. He
liked it and just got on the microphone and did a free-style. He didn’t even write the song. And it
came out so lovely that we’re going to shoot a video for it.

ABOUT MY ALBUM…
My album is not ready yet. I have got only three singles since September last year when I came out. The singles are; Loving Your Way, Irawo and NoLele. I feel we still need to push the songs a lot more. I’m very grateful for the Tuface and Friends tour that I’m doing because it’s allowing me to
publicize myself to fans in East, North and South. I’m hoping the album will be dropped in January of February next year when it’s quiet so that it can
drop with a bang.

MY PARENTS ROLES IN MY CAREER…
My dad has not really been a typical part of my life. He has kids everywhere. I’ve never really been close to him like that. Before my mom
died, she wasn’t really a believer in this music thing, though she supported me. She paid for my violin, drama and piano lessons. But she never thought that I
would take it this far and the day before she died, she told me, ‘Ok, I agree with you on this music you insist on doing, but make sure you put God first.’ I
didn’t think she was going to die and nobody thought so too. She wasn’t sick, she just had a surgical operation and it went bad. In her spirit, she knew something would happen and she would not see me again, she said very prophetically: “You’d end up in Nigeria at the end of the day.” And she
added that before I marry or allow any man take that part of my life, I should make sure I’m a successful woman. It might sound controversial
